Carolina Espinel
MS Nutrition Education
Certified Pilates Instructor
Carolina graduated from American University at Washington DC with a Masters in Science in Nutrition Education in 2016. She obtained a Mat Pilates Certification in 2015 and recently completed her Comprehensive Training in Pilates through Club Pilates, thus becoming a Certified Pilates Instructor.
Carolina has been interested in fitness for years. At age 15, upon surgery to correct Scoliosis, she took her fitness regime seriously and since then she has been learning from her instructors and eventually embarking on her own journey. Throughout college and graduate school, she attended several seminars and workshops. To name a few of her steps: she became a Certified Spinning Instructor in 2012 through Mad Dogg Athletics, participated in DCAC’S Fitness Convention in Virginia in 2013, and ACSM’S Health and Fitness Summit in San Diego in 2017.
She is very passionate about active lifestyle and combining fitness with nutrition for optimal health. Her approach is flexible and aims to encourage people to live a healthy, balanced life while enjoying it to its fullest.

Amy Hustead
Certified Pilates Instructor with 15 years of experience teaching Pilates to all fitness levels.
She began her Pilates journey while studying as a Dance Major at California State Long Beach. Pilates was part of her training and she was amazed at the transformation in her own ability and strength with the addition of Pilates. From that moment on Pilates became a permanent fixture in her life. Eventually, she became injured as a dancer and left the program at CSULB to finish her degree at St. Mary’s College in California where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts.
Dance is still a passion but Pilates is her driving force.
Amy recently completed a six-month, 90-hour Pilates Reformer training through Truckee Meadows Community College. Continuing education is something she really enjoys and it helps her keep her knowledge fresh. She believes in Joseph Pilates and the modern visionary fitness guru that he was. He worked with all types of people from injured soldiers to professional dancers. Pilates is for everyone! Pilates will have a positive effect on your well-being, and improve your posture. If you become injured Pilates is a great tool for recovery. Also, if you are an athlete it will help you excel in ways you never thought possible.
