Pilates, especially reformer style Pilates serves as a great compliment to any exercise regimen… as it reinforces the core by encouraging stability and proper range of motion in the body.

The reformer machine is one of the many pieces of equipment that Joseph Pilates designed to incorporate into his methodology of exercise… it has been coined by many as “The Universal Reformer”.

The Pilates reformer, otherwise known as the universal reformer, provides a great, full-body workout. Using your arms and legs you will push and pull against spring resistance on a moving carriage. Exercises range from simple to super advanced and can easily be modified, making a reformer workout suitable for most clients and an attractive option for group fitness.

Depending on the school of Pilates, the list of principles and the way they are presented may vary slightly; however, this list—breath, concentration, center, control, precision, and flow—includes those principles that form the basis of many approaches of Pilates and are generally accepted as the foundation of the system.

April has been teaching reformer style Pilates for nearly 12 years. She has had the opportunity to work with many highly regarded classical Pilates teachers such as Dana Santi, Moses Urbano, and Susannah Cotrone. Her educational and teaching paths are closely intertwined as she has a B.S. in Public Health from the University of Nevada Reno. From her years of experience teaching the Pilates method, she has come to realize that good health is vital to living a better quality life as… “Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness.” ~ Joseph Pilates

Indoor Track & Ramp

The indoor ramp is one of the most awe-inspiring unique amenities at Southrac.  Take your workout to another level by incorporating sprints, laps and a multitude of ramp training exercises.


To accommodate all participants, from cycling enthusiasts to elite athletes, our spinning programs utilize top-of-the-line spin bikes and instructors.  Each class (live and virtual) geared with inspiration in mind.

Group EX Classes

Group ex classes are a cornerstone of the amenities offered.  Classes range from high-intensity Les Mills programs to the tranquility of Yoga and everything in between.  Keep your workouts evolving with plenty of class choices and times throughout the week.


Two full-size basketball courts to accommodate members.  The perfect mix of shoot-a-round times and friendly pick up games throughout the week.


Our racquetball courts are a fun, fast-paced way to break a sweat, workout with a buddy and burn calories.

Speed & Agility School

Speed School is an elite small group training program.  A tremendous resource for serious youth athletes and for others just looking to reach their full fitness potential. 

Lockers & Sauna

Personal storage locker rooms with ample space and clean showers for Men & Women. Also included are saunas for recovery and other health benefits.

Guest Pass

$20 day / $55 week-Fully refundable (applied to your membership) if you join on or before the expiration.

Guest Policy

Southrac welcomes guests! We do require that all visitors to the club be at least 18 years of age and show a government-issued ID. Guests have access to the majority of the facility but must become a member to use the Kids Playroom.

If you would like to try out the facility, there is a Guest Fee ($20 day / $55 week / $100 month).  However, this guest fee is fully applied to your membership if you decide to join the club on or before the guest pass expiration date.
