What are the age rules for membership?

Can I freeze my membership?
During the first year of membership, you can place your account on freeze for up to 60 days if you are pregnant or injured (with a doctor’s note). Any freeze period does not count toward your membership time obligation. After your first year of membership, you may place your account no more than one month per year and must provide seven days’ notice. All “freeze requests” must be completed via electronic form at mysouthrac.com.
How do I cancel my membership?
You must complete your request to cancel at MySouthrac.com. You will receive confirmation of the request as well as any amounts due (if any) via the electronic form.
Is the $149 enrollment fee per person?
No, it is for the entire membership up to 4 people. After the initial signup, another $149 enrollment fee would be owed to add a person to the account.
Do we have a pool?
We get asked this fairly often, so we have included the question. No, we do not have a pool.
How can I find out how many months/payments are left on my membership?
You may call us or complete a request on mysouthrac.com.
How do I update my billing?
You may call the facility or visit MySouthrac.com.
Can I pay the membership for a friend or family member?
Yes, but you must complete a separate form “Payor Only” at MySouthrac.com.
Can I replace someone on my membership?
We allow for a “1-time” switch on an account if the person is otherwise eligible (ie meets the age guidelines).
Can I bring in a guest for free?
No, but you are welcome to pay the fee and that fee can be applied to a membership if they join on or before the pass expires (day and week pass only).
Is there an “annual fee”?
No, currently there is no additional annual fee.
How do I add someone to my account?
You may make the request at MySouthrac.com.
Can I drop someone from my membership?
You can drop someone from your membership if you are past your obligation date. Please visit MySouthrac.com to make the request.
What are some of the most common rules and guidelines to follow?
- Consideration of others is an absolute rule.
- You must rack all plates, barbells and dumbbells after use.
- Do not drop or bang free weights, machine weights or dumbbells.
- No food or drinks in exercise areas. Plastic spill proof bottles are permitted.
- Free weights and accessories may not leave the free weight area.
- No chalk allowed in facility.
- You must allow other members to work through when performing multiple sets.
- Do not stand on exercise benches.
- Do not move equipment.
- Do not place weights on upholstery.
- No foul language should be used against other members or staff.
- Profanity and derogatory language/imagery printed on clothing is not allowed.
- No running or horseplay in facility.
- No loud or strange noises during workout.
- Members may not bring their own exercise equipment into facility.
- No boxing, martial arts, use of sports balls or equipment (i.e. footballs, baseballs, etc.) or gymnastics in facility.
- Good personal hygiene is a must.
- Members may not use the Club’s audio equipment.
- NO SMOKING or chewing gum anywhere in facility.
- Southrac is not responsible for any personal belongings lost, stolen or left at Clubs or in parking lots.
- Members must follow all rules posted in facility and/or included in the membership contract.
- All users must be out of the facility by closing time.
- Proper gym attire and footwear must be worn. Closed-toed athletic shoes are mandatory. Shirts must be worn at all times and cover the chest and back. Prohibited items include: Clothing with rivets, hooks, studs, or zippers; torn or cut-off clothing; jeans; flip-flops, aqua shoes, sandals; bare or stocking feet.
- No outside services or businesses may be offered within or from the facility such as training, physical therapy, dietician, or product sales.
- All Sauna users must follow these guidelines in addition to any posted guidelines:
-Please refrain from dumping water on the sauna rocks or yourself. Puddles of water left on benches is not permitted and negatively impacts future users.
-All users must wear swimsuit, clothing or a towel. Please keep towels wrapped around you when inside the sauna. Towel service is available for a monthly fee if needed.

How do I find out if I have a balance on my account?
Please call the facility.
Do we offer discounts for certain groups?
Generally not. However, depending on size, we may be able to offer a discounted rate for businesses enrolling a group of employees.
Is there a discount to add others to my account?
We do not offer a reduced rate for multiple people on the same account. That way you are welcome to join on your own or others’ accounts based on your billing preference.
If I have been canceled in the past for lack of payment or an “incident” can I rejoin or join on someone else's membership?
If you were canceled over an “incident,” you should contact one of the Managers to discuss the situation. Based on the time and severity, we will do our best to work with you. If were a previous member and did not complete your obligation, you must pay the enrollment fee to rejoin whether it is on your own account or on someone else’s membership. In either situation, you are not eligible to access the club through a guest pass.
Can I train others and/or bring in my own equipment?
No.
